self improvement - the most required advancement that we need today

What do you mean by self-improvement? Or why is it necessary?

when I thought about this I was thinking of the same questions,  is this necessary for me or am I not good enough and if not, then what are my weaknesses?

However, if I am not good enough, how am I supposed to come out of this situation? honestly, at one point I thought that if this is really going to work or am I just wasting my time?

Many times people will ask you about yourself, they will question your identity, your character or sometimes we ask them the same question. Sometimes even we ask the same about ourselves to our friends. And it’s good to ask for feedback, but here is the thing, no matter how much you ask about yourself from others you’ll not get answers which satisfy you until you ask yourself because at the end of the day only one person is going, to be honest with you and that is YOU.

As I said, the more you question yourself the more you will try to get answers, and that’s Self-Improvement. Knowing and trying to understand every aspect of your life and then improve it.

Once there was a time when I used to watch many YouTube videos on “how to get rich” and knowledgeable or “how to become successful” and how to become famous ..because that’s what I thought self-improvement is all about and not only me, maybe you or anyone will think the same because our society or our way of living teaches us like this only.

Now let me come straight to the point. We think that self-improvement is like a task in our daily life that we may or may not want to do.

You know when people talk about self-improvement, they actually talk about acquiring success in the world– you keep doing what you are doing, earn money, build status, get in a better shape and travel the world. But this kind of improvement is basically our lifestyle and these are the things that will improve your lifestyle without changing who you actually are.

There are two kinds of improvement, one is External and another one is SELF. When we talk about improving possessions, fitness, money, status, or our relationships…then we are talking about our external improvement. But the real meaning of self-improvement lies in keeping good habits, generating ideas, learning new skills, and having positive thoughts and beliefs.

Both improvements influence each other. Let me tell you with an example, being rich may start improving your confidence, your fitness, like being disciplined and canny may start to make you rich.

So, I think improving yourself is actually much beneficial rather than focusing on the external aspects because the truth is that the moment we start working on ourselves is the moment we will get better and better.

How are we supposed to do that?

It’s simple. Start with eliminating your negativity, which means try to find out your negative thoughts about your potential and start improving it and if Nothing can be done to improve the situation then remove it because your negative belief is the only thing in the world that is stopping you.

you may not realize but that’s exactly what’s stopping you, your conscious and subconscious have been trained your whole life believing in the negativeness which you taught, and this is the reason why we think negatively all the time.

We always procrastinate saying “I am tired” or “I don’t think I can do it”, then what happens? most of us will engage ourselves in another thing.

Some people say hey I don’t like the subject that’s why I couldn’t do it but let me tell you, I am not talking about any school subject, I am talking about actual life subjects.

No matter what you love to do or what you want to become, sometimes in life you have to do things(subjects) which you don’t like and many times it feels like resistance to you but rather than regretting what you are doing but instead think that it’s a task in that path which will take you to your goal.

So if you want to improve your conscious then stop making excuses and try to make good habits, think positive, say YES I CAN DO IT rather than saying I am tired, and stop telling yourself my situation is bad, I don’t think I can do it, stop feeling bad about yourself because that will take you nowhere.

Challenge yourselves in every stage of your life, challenge your limits and you will get to know that how capable you are of doing things.

Every day might not be perfect, but each day — with its failures and small wins –it is still progress, and that’s what self-improvement is all about.

Accept what you have and believe what you are capable of achieving and whenever you feel like making those excuses then imagine the worst and I guarantee you that will give you the motivation to keep moving.

Remember one thing, whether it’s about creating a new habit, doing something new or whatever it may be but do it with DISCIPLINE and not only when everyone is watching, but when no one is watching, when your friends aren’t there when your parents aren’t there when it’s just you and your character because that’s when you will be honest with yourself.

There are many ways to self-improve and it’s better to create your own way and I have also listed out some of my best tips that may be helpful in your personal growth journey. Create a mindset and start doing them.

Make a Habit of Learning Something New

If you want a change in yourself then start doing something new. Like you can read books every day. The more you read, the more wisdom you expose yourself to.

THE 48 LAWS OF POWER by Robert Greene and many more.

You can also learn from taking new courses which you would like because courses are great a way to gain new knowledge and these things will automatically help to improve your skills.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Your comfort zone is your enemy. One of the biggest ironies I can think of is when you live life trying to stay comfortable, life will send you more and more problems.

So you have one of two options, either you commit to constant and discomfort on your own accord and you become master of your destiny or you rely on life and let life control you.

One path leads to success while the other leads to constant struggles and pain, CHOICE IS YOURS.

One of the biggest reasons for not coming out of your comfort zones is fear. fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of speaking, fear of taking risks. In other words let go of your fear because if you don’t, you will live in the same cage in which you are living now.

But this cage is also breakable because it’s made by your conscious, and the day you will take control of your consciousness is the day you will break out of it.


Make a routine

Start with waking up early in the morning and it will improve your productivity and quality of life.

Setting up a routine will make you more efficient and proficient because you will become better at doing certain things as you will do it regularly.

Make your own task list of what you have to do for a day, but make sure whatever you write on that list is completed by the end of the day. No matter what, you have to do it.


Learn from people who inspire you

As we know, in all our lives there are people who inspire us, because of them we get motivated to do something doesn’t matter if it’s a small or a big thing but we still do it. And those people can be anyone, they can be your friends, your parents or anyone. In my life I get inspiration from my friend, I learn from him.

I am not talking about people with whom you not only spend time but also hang out, go for long trips or movies. I am talking about people that inspire you, by looking at and talking to them you feel like you want to be like him/her, that I also want to live like this only.

It’s all on you that without getting shy ask for help or you let your mind think that what if people will laugh at me, what they will think of me, there are people who will always try to pull you back it doesn’t mean you have to be worried about them so just stop thinking that.

Let go off your past

You will never be able to grow if you are holding onto your past, don’t be stuck in there otherwise, it will only take you down. I know we all have something inside of us and we all have reasons to keep that, but you and I both know that it is going to give you only pain. Bad things happen but instead of sticking with that past learn from it and move on, that’s all you have to do because you won’t be able to move forward until you cut the rope which is stopping you.

And if you ever feel bad for your past and again start regretting it then remember these lines said by A legendary actor Sylvester Stallone and it’s my favorite too,

“ Let me tell something you already know, the world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows it’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it, you me or nobody is gonna hit as Hard as life, but it ain’t about how hard you hit it’s about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward, how much you can TAKE and keep moving forward that’s how winning is done“.

Start Taking Action

You know we all watch videos on YouTube, read blogs and books but in the end, all go waste if we haven’t taken any action, we haven’t started anything so the overall progress will be still zero.

And lastly, you might have the potential but your potential means nothing without taking action, So START TAKING ACTIONS and make an upgrade in your life.
